Are you an adult wanting a peaceful visit to the butterfly house? We love the unbridled joy children bring to the museum, but the excitement can be overwhelming for some. If you're looking for a chance to enjoy a calmer museum environment, join us for Adult Quiet Hour!
This quiet hour is for adults only and is a great opportunity for grown-up bug enthusiasts to enjoy a child-free museum environment. We will minimize excess noise during this time to offer space for reflection, journaling, or reading—whatever activity brings you peace of mind.
Some Things to Keep in Mind:
-The animal encounter area will not be open during these hours.
-The staff will be quietly working to ready the museum for our regular open hours.
-Art supplies are welcome but must adhere to USDA guidelines (no large bags over 12” x 12,” no monopods/tripods).
-Excess noise will be kept to a minimum (fans and foggers off, etc.), but noise-canceling headphones are welcome and encouraged if needed.
