This workshop at Forming Art Studios aims to introduce adult beginners to the captivating world of portrait drawing. Led by artist Ashley Laren, students will go through a comprehensive 4-week course learning the essential techniques and skills of drawing lifelike portraits. Participants will use all of the knowledge they have gained to create a final self-portrait project at the end of the four weeks.
Sessions are held every Saturday between July 27th - August 17th from 11 AM - 1 PM.
Week 1: Foundations and First Impressions
Week 2: Enhancing Observation and Technique
Week 3: Focusing on the Details
Week 4: Final Project and Reflection
