Intro to Acrylic Painting – Ages 16+
Learn the foundations of acrylic paints and work with concepts of color theory, color mixing, textures, and brushwork techniques. Each session will explore different topics and subjects of acrylic painting. This is a beginner’s class but can also be a valuable refresher for artists of every level. Supplies not included. Oil Mixing & Painting from a Photograph– Ages 18+
If you have ever marveled at an oil painting made by great historical painters and wondered how they controlled their medium, then this course is your answer! Using a photographic reference, you will learn to successfully mix your oil colors and guided to create paintings you never thought possible. Beginning oil painters and those who are looking to sharpen their skills are welcome. (Note: No Turpentine is allowed, Terpenoid only.)
