PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REFRESHER COURSE DESIGNED FOR THOSE WITH UPCOMING EXPIRING MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER QUALIFICATIONS AND IS NOT DESIGNED FOR NEW DELEGATES INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER.

Calling all Mental Health First Aiders!

Has it been 3 years since you completed your Mental Health First Aid training with Mental Health First Aid England? If so, it’s time for a refresher.

Join us on 12th December for our Mental Health First Aider Refresher course – designed to keep your certification up-to-date and ensure you’re equipped with the latest skills to provide crucial mental health support in your workplace.

Why refresh?

• Keep your knowledge, awareness and skills of mental health support current
• Update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it
• Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan

You will be eligible to attend if you have completed a Mental Health First Aid course with a valid, in-date certificate. If your certificate is more than six months out of date, you will need to re-complete the full MHFA course. Please note that you will be required to email the Instructor with a copy of your certificate one week before the course is held.

The refresher must be done within 6 months of the 3 year renewal date of your two-day training course date.

Once you have completed your MHFA Refresher course, you will be certified for three years and will be invited to become or stay a member of our Association of Mental Health First Aiders – making sure you have everything you need to feel confident when supporting others. ​
