About this Event

Mental Health First Aid Training

Be the difference when someone needs help most.

Join us for an engaging, interactive Mental Health First Aid training and gain the knowledge and confidence to support someone experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

During this in-person course, you'll learn the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE)—a practical, evidence-based approach to recognizing the signs of mental distress, offering initial support, and connecting individuals with appropriate professional and community resources.

Through discussion, activities, and real-world scenarios, you'll build skills you can use to help friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, and others in your community. Whether you're new to the topic or looking to strengthen your ability to help others, this course provides a welcoming environment where participants learn from both the instructors and one another.

Together, we can build a community that is more informed, compassionate, and prepared to respond when mental health matters most.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please help us be good stewards of our resources. Only sign up for this class if you will actually attend. If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible by email: [email protected].

The class must have at least 5 participants registered three days before the in-person delivery. If this minimum requirement is not met, the class will be canceled, and you will be notified.
