Adult Learn to Ride - On the Road

This course is designed to get you confident when cycling on both quiet and busier roads, under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
This ride is suitable for those who are already confident riding a bike on shared paths and protected cycleways.
This course will cover:
-Braking quickly with control
-Signalling and turning onto quiet and busier roads
-Journey planning
- Road etiquette and road rules
This course in Avondale and will be delivered in a smaller group with qualified instructors at a pace that everyone in the group is comfortable with. The event is run by Nextride, on behalf of Auckland Council. They have more than 20 years experience bringing bikes and scooters to life in the city.
