Trailblazers is thrilled to bring Adult First Ride to Springdale!
If you are an adult who has never learned how to ride a bike or it's been a long time, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Trailblazers instructors and trained volunteers will be there to guide you every step of the way.
Adult First Ride Series is split into three lessons, covering crucial skills like balancing, pedaling, braking, shifting, turning, safety, and more (see agenda for details). Whether you're just learning how to pedal or looking to build your confidence and improve your skills, this FREE class series is made for you!
Complete the entire series and you’ll be eligible to receive a FREE refurbished bike and helmet, thanks to our partnership with Pedal It Forward. We’ll wrap up our final class with a group ride together!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 1: Learn to Balance, Pedal & Steer
Info: This first session is great for both those who never learned to ride a bike OR for those who haven't ridden in several years. We'll practice balance, brake basics, and steering.

September 8: Shifting, Braking, & Turning
Info: This second session builds on the skills covered in our first class. We'll learn and practice skills for shifting, braking, turning and signaling.

September 15: Safety Skills + Group Ride (on Pavement)
Info: This third session builds on topics covered in sessions 1 & 2. You'll learn safety skills, trail etiquette, and rules of the road. We'll practice what you've learned by going on a group ride!
