Explore the world of faith around you! Adults are invited to an Education Day Trip on Wednesday, May 22, to the Sinsinawa Mound Center near Galena, Illinois, to visit the Sanctuary and bookstore. The Center is the home of the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, who are well known for their bakery—bread and rolls will be available to purchase!Attendees will meet in the Our Savior's Bridge parking lot (look for the mini-bus!) at 8:00 AM. You can sign up to ride on the mini-bus or follow the caravan and drive yourself. The drive is less than 2 hours to the Center. After we visit the Center, we will stop in Galena for lunch and explore the city before heading back to Rockford. The ETA back at Our Savior's is 4:00 PM.
The cost is $20/person. When signing up for the Day Trip, let us know if you need a seat on the mini-bus—spots are limited to 14 people. Sign up through the event ticket link or at the Welcome Center.
