This weekly class is led by Jared Weber, a professional artist and tattooist whose work you already know from the Tardigrade’s Bookshelf logo. Jared has years of experience not just making art, but teaching it—helping people build real skills without sucking the joy out of the process.
Sessions are structured but flexible, with an emphasis on core drawing tools like line work, form, value, and composition. More importantly, you’ll learn how to see better and make deliberate choices in your work. Whether you’re dusting off an old sketchbook, pushing past a plateau, or finally giving your creative practice some regular attention, this class is designed to support that momentum.
The vibe is focused, relaxed, and refreshingly human. You’ll get honest feedback, practical instruction, and space to experiment—without critique anxiety or art-world posturing.
No pressure to be brilliant. No expectation to “keep up.”
Just consistent practice, thoughtful guidance, and visible progress.
