Adult DJ Class (June 2023)

This 3 week course is tailored for adults and covers the following topics through classroom lectures and hands-on labs facilitated by WeJam Certified Coaches: 

• DJ Software Overview & Lab w/ Serato DJ
• 4/8 Count & Cue Points
• Equipment Setup, Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Beat Matching/Blending, BPM, Scratching, Looping & EFX
• Controller Mastery
• Building and organizing your musical library
• Streaming w/ Tidal & Soundcloud
• Using Serato Stems
• The Business of DJing
• DJ Recital

This class meets on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM - 8:30PM starting on Monday, June 5, 2023; Ending Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The cost of this course is $299; $99 due upon registering (non-refundable) w/ the remaining balance due prior to the 3rd week of class. Flex payments available for the balance.

REQUIREMENTS

• No prior DJ experience is required

• Participants are encouraged to bring their own DJ controller and/or laptop; if you were taking golf lessons you would need your own clubs!

FAQs 

What are the payment options for the course? The $200 balance is due prior to the start of the 3rd week.  Acceptable payment options are:  Credit Card, Cash, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal.

What are parking options for getting to and from the event? Metered, street parking is available.

What should I bring into the event? Headphones, 4GB flash drive, pen & paper, Serato compatible DJ controller and laptop (Mac or PC).

What type of DJ Controller? This depends on your budget. Any DJ Controller that is compatible w/ Serato DJ is acceptable. We can help you choose the right controller.
