Come enjoy the beauty and grace of dancing ballet! This is a great place to start for the very beginner interested in learning ballet and getting some great exercise. Taught by the marvelous Miss Melanie, you can learn the basics and, if and when you’re ready, there is a super fun and establish next level to move on to. This session will cover basic ballet positions, steps and vocabulary with a focus on awareness of proper posture and body alignment. Barre work and center floor exercises will be given to enhance coordination, strength, balance and flexibility. Participants will also develop a sense of musical awareness and movement quality. No prior ballet experience necessary.
