Turn the forgotten into the unforgettable! In this introductory workshop, you’ll discover the craft of open-spine bookbinding using an eco-friendly twist. Perfect for beginners and intermediate makers alike, this class teaches you how to transform recycled and reclaimed materials into gorgeous, functional journals or sketchbooks.
Led by instructor Victoria Serna, you’ll get a comprehensive look at essential bookbinding techniques, tools, and local sourcing resources so you can keep creating at home. Together, we’ll construct custom covers from recycled goods, prepare our text pages, and master two classic, elegant exposed-spine stitches: the Kettle Stitch and the French Link.
