The purpose of this course is to teach responders the knowledge/ skills necessary to give care in an emergency, help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives. Topics covered include controlling bleeding, treat soft tissue /musculoskeletal injuries, identify signs/ symptoms of sudden illness, including stroke, diabetic emergency, poisoning and allergic reactions. **This is NOT a certification course**
