ADSVA's Art Deco Weekend - Scott's Addition Tour
Advertisement
Cap off the ADSVA's Art Deco Weekend with a walking tour through historic Scott’s Addition. Originally named for General Winfield Scott, this early-20th century commercial and industrial area contains what is perhaps Richmond’s best selection of Art Deco and Moderne commercial architecture. Join us to
discover the history behind this popular Richmond district, now a booming residential neighborhood.
This is a private tour presented by The Valentine Museum in association with the ADSVA. The tour will start at the corner of Leigh Street and Roseneath Road outside of Tazza Kitchen. Street parking is available but a bit challenging so please allow a bit of extra time to find a spot just in case!
Tour general admission is $20/$15 for ADSVA members. Space is limited. You can register for the tour here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/art-deco-weekend-walking-tour-of-scotts-addition
NOTE: Rain cancels. Also, if the weather requires moving the Gatsby Afternoon Picnic to Sunday, the tour will be cancelled and refunds will be issued.
