ZOOM IN on the person; ZOOM OUT on the problem.

As we enter a new decade, the top data-driven marketing trends in 2021 are all about significant change. This includes the changes in business’s consumer engagement created by the pandemic, shifts in consumer expectations on privacy and interaction, the increasing litigation on the industry tech giants, the ethical use of data, and the industry regulations likely to come. In a world where disruption is constant, the Data & Identity industry is one filled with the complexity of many solutions but no clear answers.

The 2021 AdstrAct Data Conference aims to help address this complexity that Brands and Providers face by considering the questions, trends, reactions, and answers that are presenting themselves today. Our conference looks to bring together Industry leading minds to discuss the challenges, questions, and solutions we all need to be considering. Disruption is often the key to successfully moving forward, but in the world we now live in, disruption can be easily seen as nothing more than chaos. With mindful consideration, that rather than chaos, disruption can be redirected toward progress.

Our conference, “Exploring a Mindful Disruption of Data” aims to help raise the right level of discussion around how Brands and Providers should be thinking about moving forward. How should identity be used to better manage the customer journey across media? How should the rights of the consumer be balanced against the rights of business to conduct business fairly? How effective are marketers in evaluating media spend across a more diverse array of media channels? And most important, what should Brands control in managing customer identity?

The pace of innovation and technological change in our industry will only increase. Large incumbent data companies have never kept pace with this change, because doing so inevitably puts their legacy business at risk. Brands need to build their knowledge in the Data & Identity space to ensure they are in control of their marketing and advertising approaches going forward, be it through forward thinking providers or directly insourcing the business-critical components to their data & identity management capabilities.
