Adrian Gurvitz, known for his iconic hit "Classic" and his work with The Gun, Baker Gurvitz Army, and The Graeme Edge Band, has been a cornerstone of the music industry for decades. Born into a musical family, with his father managing tours for Cliff Richard and the Shadows as well as The Kinks, Adrian began playing guitar at the age of eight. By 15, he was already touring in bands, and at 18, he had his first major hit with "Race with the Devil" by The Gun, which reached the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart.
Adrian later formed the Baker Gurvitz Army with Ginger Baker, drummer for Cream. Their debut album went gold and peaked at No. 22 on the UK Albums Chart, also making its mark on the US Billboard 200.
