Adornment from the Earth: Flower Garland-Making with Grounding & Movement

This 90-minute workshop offers creative ritual, environmental care, and embodied expression, using freshly-cut, natural florals and leaves as a bridge between self and nature. By blending the beauty and biodiversity of Toronto Botanical Garden with body-based awareness, this program embodies the Garden’s vision of bridging the gap between wellness and nature.

About Anika Rasheed

Anika Rasheed (she/her) is a Trauma-Informed Somatic Practitioner, Sound Healer, and Wellness Facilitator. She helps individuals regulate their nervous system using trauma-informed body-based healing like somatic movement, breathwork, and mindfulness/meditation.

With a background in psychology, public service, and holistic wellness, she bridges science and embodied wisdom to offer practical tools for navigating stress, trauma and emotional overwhelm to strengthen the mind-body connection.

She has facilitated sessions for community organizations, corporate workplaces, universities, schools, retirement homes, and women’s circles, empowering participants to connect to their mind and body for ease and calm.
