Adorama In-Person Photo Critique with Seth and Daniel!
About this Event
We talk so much about how to shoot and techniques while its happening but what about the finished product?
No matter the skill level we all need another credible eye for feedback beyond comments on social media.
At this event have your work viewed by two working professional photographers with over 40 years of experience between them.
Daniel Norton and Seth Miranda are accepting submissions FROM YOU to be viewed and discussed constructively.
Please Note:
- This is a don't miss in-person event only and will NOT be live streamed. Photographers must be present at time of event or the work will be skipped over during discussion if selected.
- Photos are to be submitted via email no later than 24 hrs prior to the event
- While we will do our best to include all participants. Not all images will be selected for viewing and will be pulled at random from the submissions.
- Keep in mind - you don't have to submit images to learn. Come hang out with fellow photographers. Only at Adorama!
Guidelines For Submissions:
- Please submit up to 3 images per person (*Not all images from each submission will be selected for review) Photographers may include an option text file with submission to include captions the images file named the same method
- Files must be labeled as photographers name (e.g. Eddie_Brock1.jpg, Eddie_Brock2.jpg, Etc.)
- Participant must be in attendance in person at the critique in the Live Event Space in the Adorama NYC store (42 w18th st)
- Images may NOT display nudity, violence, or anything else that goes beyond a PG rating
- Images should be MINIMUM 2500 pixels on their long edge

Daniel Norton is a creator, an educator, and, most of all, a student of life and the human condition. With over 20 years in the photo industry as a photographer, designer, podcaster, and writer, Daniel draws on his real-world experience to help others be the best creators they can be.

Seth Miranda, Photographer
Seth Miranda's career in photography has been as unique as his images. Having publications under his belt at age 15, he sculpted his lighting technique day and night in the fast-action world of BMX and skateboarding. With experience running the spectrum of all formats of film, experimental/older forgotten processes all the way to today's digital medium, his versatile style has been featured in DigBMX, RideBMX, Juxtapoz, MakeUp Artist magazine and Transworld media publications as well as billboard and print ads for agencies like Deustch.
Seth has brought his skill set and experience to the studio to capture every vision and concept thrown at his lens by the Special Effects MakeUp artists in attendance having worked for MUD MakeUp Designory, MakeUp For Ever, MakeUp Artist Magazine, IMATS, and many more facets of the industry. Today you can also find him educating the masses as a content producer for Adorama's platforms.
