Adoption Connection Asheville

Join us for National Adoption Awareness Month and help us see if there's enough interest to start a discussion and support group in Asheville for people impacted by adoption. Adoptees, first/birth parents, adoptive parents, adoption professionals and other family members (spouses, siblings, grandparents, etc) are welcome to join us.

The group will be co-facilitated by Leslie Pate McKinnon, an adoption informed therapist and first mother and Elizabeth Barbour, an adoption reunion coach, adoptee and adoptive mom.

The first meeting will be a chance to get to know one another with introductions and we'll discuss suggestions for topics and format in the future. Bring your own food + drink if you'd like to eat dinner. We'll meet in the private conference room at Movement Mortgage at 230 Hilliard Ave in downtown Asheville, Suite A. Free parking in the upper parking lot near the front door.
