About this Event
Become a steward of Volusia County’s Conservation Lands with the Green Volusia Volunteer program! Come discover the details to see if it is the right fit for you, your family, organization, or school group. Join Environmental Specialist Holly Giles to learn about invasive plant species and help clear the picnic area of Caesar’s W**d.
Our guest speakers will demonstrate the basics of Florida hiking and take you on a short hike at Lake George. Overview and training for new and current trail adopters will take place. Light refreshments will be served. Reservations are required. All ages welcome.
Bring garden gloves. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required.
