VOLUNTEERS WANTED!This FREE workshop focuses on visual and macroinvertebrate monitoring. Training will take place within city limits. Exact location will be shared upon completing registration.
Training will run from 10 AM-3PM
You will learn how to: select a monitoring site, use equipment, collect live samples, evaluate water quality based on those samples, enter data, assess stream conditions and practice safety in the field.
Certified volunteer water quality monitors are encouraged to adopt a stream to sample on a monthly basis.
You will be emailed more information after you RSVP for the workshop. Come prepared to get your feet wet in a shallow stream!
