Join us for our Adopt-a-Beach cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Lakeside Beach! Lakeside Beach address is 3670 Gratiot Ave in Port Huron. 🏖️
Volunteers will pick up items washed ashore or left behind by beachgoers and record the types and quantity of trash found. At the end, all trash will be weighed to see how much was collectively cleaned up.
Adopt-A-Beach is an initiative through the Alliance for the Great Lakes to clean beaches and collect data on plastic pollution. The data from this cleanup will be submitted to help with this Great Lakes-wide effort to keep litter out of the lakes.
Bags, gloves and buckets are provided. All ages are welcome to join in on this opportunity. ❓Questions? Contact [email protected].
