For those that have completed our Adolescent course, you will have the opportunity to attend our Adolescent Support Classes.The sessions are structured for the dogs attending so you have the opportunity to work on things you might be particularly struggling with with your teenage dog, or particular things you want to achieve.
These classes run on a ‘pay as you go’ basis so you can come to as many, or as few as you like.
There will be a combination of practical exercises, games, and the opportunity to chat with others who also have a teenage dog.
Here is a general overview of what is covered in the classes:
🐾 Where your dog is developmentally - what is happening in their brain
🐾 Navigating your way through Adolescence whilst keeping your sanity - what to expect from your dog, and what your dog can expect from you
🐾 Advancing focus / attention skills, recall and practical exercises to do on walks
🐾 The important of building resilience, and how to do this practically
🐾 How distractions can impact your dog and how to work around distractions successfully
🐾 Specific exercises to suit to the individual dogs attending
Classes are held outdoors and cost £14 per class.
