Adobe Lightroom Essentials (Daytime)

This course introduces photographers and other graphic artists to the powerful yet complex digital processing tool - Adobe Lightroom Classic CC . Students will start with an overview of the technology, terminology, navigation and tool sets before embarking on creative imagery using editing tools, masks and filters. Later sessions will touch on the advanced techniques that professional digital artists use to create those stunning images you see in magazines and movie posters. Students will need to bring a laptop computer to class loaded with the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic CC as well as Adobe Lightroom Classic CC Video Book by Tony Northrup*.

This 6 week course, with classes in person at Images by Design Studio, each lasting approximately 90 minutes, followed by a description of homework assignment.
