Use a mixture of seed beads and glass pearls to create this beautiful Kumihimo necklace.
This piece uses an adjustable closure finished with beaded tassels.
In order to maximize class time homework will be assigned to preload the beads at home.
Complete instructions including photos are included.
If you have a Marudai (a traditional Japanese braiding stand) I will show you how to adapt the braiding instructions.
PREREQUISITS: Loading beads
TOOLS: Round Kumihimo disk, Kumihimo weight – 45 grams, 8 bobbins/thread lockers, Glue with a fine tip applicator, scissors, measuring tape
