Aditya Prakash, an award-winning vocalist known for his powerful and emotive voice, is a young virtuoso of Karnatik music, and one of the youngest musicians to tour and perform with Ravi Shankar at the age of 16. Aditya continues to work with leading innovators of the arts such as Anoushka Shankar, Karsh Kale, Tigran Hamasyan, Mythili Prakash and Akram Khan.
Join us on the incomparable multimedia journey of ROOM-i-Nation, a thoughtful and compelling exploration of identity and tradition through the lens of music and storytelling. ROOM-i-Nation brings to life Aditya’s 2023 album ISOLASHUN (New Amsterdam Records), using live music, a soundscape, video projection, and personal stories to illuminate the immigrant experience and offer a hopeful look at bridging cultures, generations, and musical traditions. ROOM-i-Nation invites us to reflect on our own stories of belonging and authenticity.
