Internationally touring, bluegrass gospel group, The Kevin Prater Band returns to Adirondack Bluegrass League. Forty-three year veteran of the bluegrass highway, Kevin Prater, Leader/Owner of The Kevin Prater Band from Belcher, KY. would appreciate your assistance. They will be traveling to Mountain View, AR. on Friday, March 10, 2023. We are looking for add on gigs for either March 9 or March 11, 2023.
Kevin Prater has toured the world entertaining in 24 countries and 49 states. Kevin has toured with many legends of bluegrass including twelve years with the legendary James King Band. Kevin has been part of two "Album of the Year" a "Song of the Year" and a "Recorded Event of the Year" award winning recorded projects. Kevin also toured with The Bluegrass Brothers where he earned a nomination as "Banjo Player of the Year".
Kevin is very proud to share the stage with the amazing musicians that create the bands "Coal-Fired, Pure Kentucky Bluegrass" sound. In addition to Kevin Prater on mandolin, on banjo Jake Burrows of Randleman, NC. Filling the fiddle position, Mallory Hindman or Reader, WV. and on bass, Alex Donahue of Leon, WV.
