About the Event
Students with ADHD and related challenges often struggle with emotional regulation, focus, and behavior — impacting their success at school, at home, and in social settings. They may act out, shut down, or seem oppositional. Kids with ADHD typically lack the skills to manage their emotions or recognize their own behavior. These challenges can disrupt classrooms and strain relationships with peers, families, and educators.
This session equips professionals with practical, evidence-based strategies to build structure, set clear expectations, and support positive behavior. Learn how to respond with empathy and consistency to help students thrive across settings.
About The Professional Event Series
We are hosting a series of free professional events to support evidence-based practice in children’s mental health. This is an opportunity for pediatricians, teachers, educational consultants, and mental health professionals to collaborate and network to support youth mental health. We hope you will join us.
