About this Event

You don’t have to do hard things alone.

Body doubling can help you check off the most tedious tasks by leveraging the support and accountability of working alongside someone else.

Join other ADHD + neurodivergent people to get through the things you don’t want to do, together.

But don’t worry! The structure is designed to keep you from getting distracted.

Here’s how it works:

  • Our small group will start the session with cameras on for the first 5 minutes and each person will share what they hope to accomplish by the end of the session to be accountable and root for each other.
  • After sharing, we'll put on some tunes and get to work for the next 50 minutes.
  • At the end, we’ll spend the last 5 minutes sharing how we did and celebrating doing what we said we were going to do!

Some ideas of the different tasks you can bring:

  • Laundry
  • Personal finances / budgeting
  • Cancelling subscriptions
  • Deep clean
  • Paying bills
  • Schedule health check-ups
  • Taxes
  • Plan a trip
  • Call mom
  • Update resume
  • Book self-care appointments
  • Digital decluttering
  • Emails you've been ignoring
  • Call customer support
  • Look for an assistant
  • Meal planning / prepping
  • Password management
  • Set up a new gadget
  • Open letters
  • Home repair / Yard work

About your hosts:

  • Julie (hosting 3/20) is a college professor who teaches amazing undergraduate business students in the midwest. She loves using Flow Club to carve out time for lesson planning, grading, writing, & adulting with ADHD. Ask her about her 25+ years working with tarot cards, listen to breezy instrumental chillsynth & retrowave playlists, & watch for a background cameo from her senior rat terrier, Cody.
  • Erin (hosting 3/21, 3/23) is a freelance writer click-clacking the day away in sunny Florida. Passionate about mindful productivity and wellbeing, she keeps her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds. If she's not writing about flow and focus, she's planning her next adventure or embarrassing her kids. Erin hosts a chill, supportive Flow Club with eclectic music and good vibes.
  • Micha (hosting 3/21) is a confidence coach for women in male-dominated spaces and owner of a communications agency serving the German luxury car industry. Micha loves her almost-daily Pilates Reformer workouts, her lab mix Lili Marleen, classical music and efficiency. Ask her about confidence tips and German cars.
  • Ximena (hosting 3/22) is currently a graduate student based in Virginia. Ximena's life has changed with Flow Club because she has found a community that keeps her accountable. Seeing everyone working on their own tasks--from household chores to writing a novel--motivates her to check off as many items from her endless to-do list (who doesn't have this kind of list?).
  • Janel (hosting 3/23) is a Global Digital Marketing Manager for a world leader in the sale and manufacture of electrical asset monitoring equipment.
