Social media ... we know we need it for our businesses, but it can be a huge time waster and brain drain on our limited resources.

At today's event the founder of CJ's Business Solutions, Carolyn Jeffrey, will share some hints, tips and simple, practical tools you can use to cut the workload and stress and give you time and headspace to spend on yourself or your business.

Over the past 11 years Carolyn has built a sole-operator marketing, website and writing business that services more than 50 clients. Much of the work she does is social media management for regional small businesses. She'll be giving you access to the insights she's learned on the job, and also sharing some of the tools that enables her to be able to service so many clients single-handedly.

The function is open to all women in business - those who manage, own or work in a business or those who think they'd like to be in business.

The fee you pay to reserve your ticket is a booking fee only to help cover administration and promotion. You will need to purchase your own food and refreshments.

We encourage you to bring along your business cards and flyers and also to consider your 30 second elevator pitch as you will be given the chance to introduce yourself and your business.

12.30-1pm - Arrival, check-in and networking

1pm - Seated, meal & presentation

2-3pm - Casual networking

Cancellation policy:

• Should this event be cancelled by us you will be issued with a full refund, including Eventbrite fees.

• If you are unwell and notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event we will refund your fees in full.

• A full refund will be issued if you cancel 7 days or more before the event.

• A partial refund (ticket price less Eventbrite fees) will be issued for any other cancellations prior to the event.

• No refunds will be issued if you simply do not attend after you have booked.
