Australia's undisputed and boldly charismatic master of the oud returns to Adelaide for a rare solo performance. Now based in the UK, Joseph Tawadros is a 7-time ARIA award winner, lauded for his enthralling virtuosity and transcendent music. Joseph performs in major concert halls worldwide and is known for his brilliant technique, profound musicianship and joyous style of performance. His drive to push musical boundaries has inspired collaborations with diverse performers and a solid repertoire of innovative, original music.
Sharing the bill is Connor Whyte, the first Adelaidean to triumph in the Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition. Celebrated for his sublime and sensitive performances, Whyte proudly plays beautiful South Australian instruments and is rapidly emerging as a remarkable concert guitarist. This concert highlights exquisite, intricate skill and magnificent music in an intimate setting.
