Relationship first: 1-day ZOOM workshop on why connection is key to minimizing stress, fear, rage and learned helplessness
About this Event

Thank you for visiting this page

Please join Scott Stauffer, Diana Kastner and Zoe Morales as they make their case for connection. In this workshop, they will explore why evolution has gifted us with "negative" states such as stress, fear, rage, loneliness and even learned helplessness. Are there any positives to these states? How can we help our dogs and when and how should we intervene?

As a bonus, the speakers will also discuss the "happy brain chemicals" serotonin, dopamine, endorphins and oxytocin.

The scheduled talking points are:

A little bit of science

How does your dog regulate stress, RAGE, FEAR, emotional pain and learned helplessness?

When and how should we step in?

How happy are "happy brain chemicals"?
