We invite PGA/LPGA Professionals, Golf Coaches, Recreational Therapists, Volunteers and Supporters to come learn the skills of teaching "Adaptive Golf." Gain experience on how Youth, Adults, and Veterans with physical, cognitive and/or sensory impairments are enhancing their lives through the game of golf. This workshop will help coaches become confident in teaching people with physical & cognitive challenges. We will go over how to safely and effectively utilize adaptive equipment. In the PM segment you'll experience self-adaptations across different scenarios before working with individuals from the community.
Arrival, Welcome, & Intro 8am - 9am
Adaptive Golf Power Point 9am-12pm
Lunch Provided 12pm-1pm
Coach’s Self Adaptations 1pm-230pm
Participants Arrive 230pm-3pm
Community Clinic &Group Picture 3-4pm
Certification Ceremony 4pm-till
