Adaptive Cooking Class

Join us weekly for an adaptive cooking class at DECI - Durham Exchange Club Industries, Inc. Adults with autism/disability will be learning kitchen skills together. Our instructors will guide each participant through the entire process. (We try to anticipate some basic food allergies and diets when possible!) Each gathering, some participants get to serve as assistant chefs!

This in-person event is perfect for both beginners and experienced cooks looking to enhance their skills. You'll get hands-on experience and plenty of tips and tricks to make better food at home.

During the class, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with flavors, methods, and ingredients. Plus, you'll get to meet new people and enjoy some fun time together.
