The roots of his Opelika, AL upbringing inform his musicality and guide his soul-stirring lyrics. He paints the characters of his songs with the wisdom that can only be derived by thousands of miles spent behind the steering wheel chasing the next musical adventure from one coast to the next. While initially making waves as a performer of his own songs, it has been other folks singing those songs over the past decade that have added a new layer to Adam Hood’s formidable career. Always a capable and relatable songwriter, Hood has found his way by adeptly crafting songs that created stirring scenes and powerful emotions. An impressive roster of artists have recorded songs from Adam Hood’s pen, including: Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Riley Green and Travis Tritt. While Hood’s songwriting profile has continued to shine over the years, his own recorded and touring output has remained a vital part of the broader country music landscape. Hood’s latest album is titled Bad Days Better. An effort that was recorded in the famed Capricorn Studios in Macon, GA with Brent Cobb at the helm and BlackBerry Smoke’s band playing on the 10 track album. Hood then joined Gordy Quist releasing "Adam Hood's Different Groove".

To quote Robert Keen, “it’s the little things.” John Baumann has that songwriter's eye. His songs are populated with those little things from life. Familiar things that draw you in, paint pictures in your mind and make you say, "wish I would have thought of that". That's the great thing about this kind of songwriting, it’s not flashy in any kind of way, except it’s emotional depth. Since his debut EP in 2012, he has established himself as equal parts brilliant songwriter and captivating entertainer. He’s released four solo records, landed cuts with other artists - from Kenny Chesney to the Randy Rogers Band - and continued to cement his budding reputation as a distinctively talented singer-songwriter. He's always working on new material, maintaining a steady run of tour dates with his band and as a solo performer, while also a member of the acclaimed group The Panhandlers. Richard Skanse (Lonestar Music Magazine) writes: "Too soon for accolades? Nah, More like right on time. And so long as he keeps gunning for the horizon and doesn’t succumb to the middle of the road, there oughta be a lot more of ’em coming not too far down the line."
