Adam Crossman Bio:
When you close your eyes and listen to Adam Crossman’s music, it’s hard to believe that it’s just one man on stage with an acoustic guitar. Using only his two hands and an endless passion for his craft, Adam is an award-winning solo acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who creates a wide range of tones and textures from a single six-string guitar. His ability to evoke deep emotion and translate complex ideas through music is a testament to his keen sense of melody and rhythm.A classically trained guitarist and teacher, Adam specializes in avant-garde fingerstyle guitar techniques, including the use of bows, external bridges, high-strung guitars, super trebles, artificial harmonics, and even a 21-string harp guitar. His virtuosic skills have earned him international recognition, including a 2nd place finish at the Canadian Guitar Festival Fingerstyle Competition. Adam is also affiliated with leading brands such as Ernie Ball Strings, Mayson Guitars, Brunner Guitars, Stonebridge, and Fretmonkey Records.Adam’s music transforms the guitar into a dynamic, unforgettable experience for audiences. He has performed at major festivals like Summerfolk, Eaglewood, the Oakville Jazz Festival, and the Canadian Guitar Festival, and has toured internationally, including performances in China, presented by Mayson Guitars. His experimental EP States of Mind is available on all streaming platforms.Passionate about Canadian art and nature, Adam has filmed music videos in stunning locations like Pukaskwa National Park, Peggy’s Cove, and Northern Algoma. Kevin Gregory (Revoking Grey Bio) :
Revoking Grey blends emotionally charged lyrics, highly technical modern acoustic guitar, and passion from roots in the hardcore music scene. Two-hand tapping, body percussion, and slap techniques form a foundation for melodies with melancholic depth while honest words explore emotional pain. Hardcore, emo, and pop-punk influences are brought together within the medium of fingerstyle guitar, allowing intensity to cut through.
