Amy and Adam only perform together a few times each year. And when these musical friends come together the result is nothing short of magical. Their voices, matched in intensity and delicacy, weave and blend together effortlessly, and their songs sit beside each other comfortably painting stories that are intimate, personal, and universal. Adam Labeaux has established an indelible legacy within the Michigan music scene. His music is deeply rooted in folk, classic rock, funk, pop, and soul. Labeaux himself has an astonishing range and a voice rich with feeling. By turns playful and plaintive, triumphant and mournful, evocative and mercurial, sensual and restrained, Labeaux’s songs are full of melodic surprises, authenticity, longing and hope
Amy Petty is an incredibly versatile performer. A classically trained vocalist, her voice is at the same time overwhelmingly powerful and impossibly delicate. Amy has appeared on stages across the country including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and has shared the stage with artists like Sarah McLachlan, Darlene Love, Jewel and Suzanne Vega.
They will be joined by seasoned musical veterans Daryl Bean on piano and Nick Raeon on bass.
