About this Event
The FX Member Showcase is the can't-miss event of the year!
Freelancer. Contractor. Consultant. Whatever you call it, this is for you. This year, the Ad Hops + FX Member Showcase gives you the opportunity to present your best work and get in front of the very people looking for you.
Together, we’ll be inviting scores of potential clients to the Showcase, including ad agencies, design studios, large corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, startups, and more!
Halfway through the Global Entrepreneurship Week, make sure to attend this annual event, organized by the KC Ad Club and The Freelance Exchange of Kansas City.
We are a beautiful mix of professionals, serving you with:
- A solid strategy for PR and marketing
- Graphic design, animation and branding
- Copywriting and editing for all types of content
- Capturing stories with photography and video production
- Social media management
- Websites where every part serves a purpose
This is an Ad Hops event, organized by the KC Ad Club and the FX of KC.
The Showcase is FREE to attend for all members of the KC Ad Club and FX of KC. Non-members pay a $10 entrance fee.

2. Secure your spot in the Showcase:
Exhibitor Level 1 $50
- For Freelance Exchange Members only
- 5-foot table to exhibit and showcase your company
Exhibitor Level 2 $40
- For Freelance Exchange Members only
- 4-foot space (half of an 8-foot table) to exhibit and showcase your company
- Table is shared with another freelancer to be assigned by event coordinators

- Includes full slide (1920 x 1080) in looping presentation that will run during the event
- Large banner ad (1150 x 315px, JPG, PNG or GIF) on FX website* for six months
- Inclusion in 50 Swag Bags for attendees. Items must be received no later than Monday, November 18 to be included.
Member Sponsor – Level 2 $150
- For Freelance Exchange Members only
- 8-foot table with prime placement to exhibit and showcase your company
- Logo on looping presentation that will run during the event
- Logo on event signage and fliers handed out at event (time permitting)
- Small banner ad (550 x 315 px, JPG, PNG or GIF) on FX website* for three months
- Inclusion in 50 Swag Bags for attendees. Items must be received no later than Monday, November 18 to be included.

- For Freelance Exchange Members only

- Logo on looping presentation that will run during the event

1. How many companies are attending?
In collaboration with KC Ad Club, The Freelance Exchange will be inviting hundreds of businesses and agencies. Our PR and social media campaign for this year’s Showcase is set to run on Linkedin, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Meetup. This is an event to find high-quality prospects that fit your style. You are the one bringing the magic to your table.
2. Is parking free?
Yes, there is free parking in a garage next door to Aspiria NOW. Look for the FX signs to direct you.
3. What should I bring to my table as an exhibitor?
The short answer is: bring self-promotional materials and your portfolio (if applicable). When you sign up as an exhibitor, you will receive an email with a list of information on what you can, and cannot bring. Read more: How to prepare for the showcase
About the Organizers
FX of KC is a 20+-year-old professional organization for all freelancers, consultants, and solopreneurs working in marketing and advertising in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
KC Ad Club is one of the oldest and largest American Advertising Federation (AAF) clubs nationwide, boasting nearly 2,000 members across the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area.
