About this Event

Day 1: Career Exploration & Professional Foundations (Tuesday, June 30th at 9:00am-11:00am)
Participants will explore their interests, skills, and career goals while learning about different career pathways and educational opportunities. The day also focuses on workplace professionalism, communication, attendance, and essential soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management.

Day 2: Resume Development & Job Search Skills (Wednesday, July 1st at 9:00am-11:00am)
Participants will learn how to create a strong resume, highlight their skills and experience, and avoid common resume mistakes. They will also develop a professional online presence, learn effective job search and networking strategies, and create a personalized 30-day employment success plan.

Day 3: Interview Skills & Employment Success (Thursday, July 2nd at 9:00am-12:00pm)
Participants will prepare for interviews by learning about different interview formats, employer research, professional attire, and effective responses to common interview questions. The day includes mock interviews with feedback and concludes with finalizing an individualized employment success plan to support their job search goals.
