Acupuncture & Yin Yoga for Spring with Leah Lubin L.Ac. and Willow Marcotte

Strengthen your connection to the cycles of the earth and welcome the energy of spring in this nurturing workshop of detoxification and self-care.

Join acupuncturist Leah Lubin and Willow Marcotte in a uniquely stress relieving afternoon blending the practices of acupuncture, yin yoga, and acupressure.

With a Traditional Chinese Medicine based perspective, this workshop will focus on balancing the liver and gallbladder, the governing organs of spring. There will be a yin yoga practice, guided self-acupressure/meridian flow, and an auricular acupuncture session to deeply relax and harmonize your mind, body and spirit. The combination of these modalities will allow the flow of energy (Qi), relieve tension, improve the flexibility of tendons and joints, and foster well-being, energizing and activating the body’s own healing power.

There will be a handout including foods and herbs to care for the liver and gallbladder, along with some acupressure points.

Auricular Acupuncture is a type of acupuncture that involves stimulating external points on the ear. It can be used to reduce stress in the body, promote relaxation, and ease anxiety.

Acupressure is applying pressure to various points on the body with similar principles as acupuncture to stimulate energy flow and promote wellness.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of modern yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time.

Leah Rose Lubin is an acupuncturist, practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an energy healer. She loves helping others in the process of healing and integrating into wholeness. Her practice is located in Lutz, FL.

Willow Marcotte is an E-RYT 500, YACEP, certified in Yin and Restorative Yoga. Willow invites students to dive into themselves, embracing balance not only on the mat, but in the yoga of life as well.
