About this Event
Do you enjoy meeting new people, but don't like small talk? You'll enjoy this. An evening of thinking and talking with other actual humans. Enjoyable, informal and thought-provoking conversations to explore big ideas and pursue trains of thought. This session uses the philosophy for communities method for a flexible but structured discussion and dialogue that's accessible for all.
No pre-reading, expert knowledge or previous experience required.
Philosophy is for everyone!

Info: Pop-up Philosophy - meet with other actual humans for an evening of discussion about the big ideas that make a difference every day. How do you know you can trust someone? What does it mean to be free? Is this art? Arrive any time from 6.45pm, to get a cuppa (provided free) before we start. We'll begin at 7.00pm with some introductions and then crack on with the main topic. There'll be a short break half way through and we'll finish around 9.00pm. There are a couple of bars in Orchard Square so we might go for drink after if we want to keep talking.
