Actual/Actual on tour in spring 2025 on behalf of our new album, "Dimensionality" on Edgetone Records. This is our 2nd full length album and features special guests Melvin Cortez Jackson on French Horn and percussionist Aaron Putnam. The album shows the band's varied inclinations and versatility, traversing energy/fire music to chamber improv to musique concrete, modal jazz jams, Latin and New Orleans music, and more. ACTUAL/ACTUAL features Bay Area saxophonist Rent Romus with Ohio improvisers Josh Strange on vibraphone & trumpet, Gerard Cox on keys & synth bass, and Troy Kunkler on drums.
Multi-instrumentalist Nick Weckman will be our special guest for this concert! He'll appear in the second half of the show.
We'll start at 8 and there will be food and drink on hand. Doors open 7 pm. Come celebrate with us! We'll raffle off a few cds and t-shirts. Admission is $10-20 suggested, NOTAFLOF.
