Descripción: ¿Qué estrategias comunitarias pueden incentivarse colectivamente para politizar y democratizar la literatura? Esta mesa, moderada por Cinthya Santos Briones, explorará la intersección entre escritura, activismo y justicia lingüística. Desde una perspectiva feminista y decolonial, las escritoras y activistas Eliana Hernández, Irma Uribe, María Ponce y Natalia Méndez dialogarán sobre el acceso a la literatura, la escritura y los libros en las comunidades de clase trabajadora y migrante entre México y Nueva York, en el actual contexto biopolítico de genocidios, guerras, pandemias, migraciones masivas y crisis económicas. Reflexionarán sobre el compromiso social de los escritores, académicos, activistas y editoriales para incentivar la lectura dentro de poblaciones periféricas, históricamente relegadas de los espacios hegemónicos de producción de conocimiento.
