About this Event
ATAC-seq, the gateway assay to epigenetics!
ATAC-Seq is a method to profile open chromatin regions genome-wide. Because of the assay’s speed, simplicity, and applicability to a wide range of sample types, ATAC-Seq has become a commonly-used epigenetic assay, and it can serve as a gateway to further, more detailed epigenetic analyses such as ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, CUT&Tag or TIP-ChIP
Ideal for: Post-docs, RAs or grad students new to epigenetics research
Workshop Objectives:
- Hands on lab training and FREE sequencing of your own cells with Active Motif’s ATAC-Seq Kit. (sponsored by the Center for Advanced Technology and Active Motif)
- In-depth protocol review highlighting challenging steps and how to overcome them, QC steps required, and trouble shooting scenarios.
- Data analysis training using ATAC-seq raw example data set so that you can analyze your own sample when FASTQ files are ready (1 cell sample per person, K562 cells will be provided for those who do not wish to bring their own)
Required: Must bring your own pipets and tips and plan to start at 11am.
Spaces are limilited therefore this workshop is by invitation only - Please register to secure a spot
