Have you ever wanted to listen in a way that truly makes someone feel seen, valued, and understood? Whether you are looking to grow in your current role as a Love INC volunteer, deepen your everyday relationships, or simply connect better with your neighbors in the Black Hills, this class is for you.

Active listening is more than just hearing words. It is an essential skill set for communicating to others that they are loved, they belong, they have choices, and they have something of value to offer. This interactive training class is open to all volunteers and any community members who want to build deeper trust and mutual understanding in their daily conversations.

At Love INC of the Black Hills, our objective is to help mobilize the local church to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ. We believe that true transformation is rooted in healthy, supportive relationships.

By mastering the art of active listening, you help shatter the lonely personal lies that many people face in our community. Your listening ears can be the very tool that helps a neighbor transition from isolation into a life where they feel loved, connected, and thriving.

Who should attend? This training is a core piece of equipment for our Love INC volunteers. However, the invitation is extended to the whole community. We welcome anyone who wants to learn how to show up, live out their faith, and love their neighbors well.
