Active and Healthy Ageing across the Lifespan

Welcome to the conference registration. We are delighted to be hosting this conference in our new £45 million building at the School of Sport. The invited scientific programme will provide a broad and exciting interdisciplinary view of current research in active and healthy ageing, and the challenges and opportunities of translating that research into effective practice at the individual and community level.

We encourage in-person attendance. Some sessions will be streamed live – but not for the entire conference.

There will be a poster exhibition session and we welcome submission of abstracts in relevant fields (physical activity, exercise, health, rehabilitation, behavioural change interventions, psychology etc.). Abstracts will be assessed by the organisers and, if deemed appropriate, you will be asked to print an A0 size poster – preferably in portrait orientation – to exhibit during the conference. The deadline for submission of posters is Monday 27th June (5pm). Please submit your abstract here.
