Celebrating aging and the benefits of active living at any age, Active Aging Week (Monday, October 3 - Friday, October 7) showcases the abilities of older adults each year. Join us for an exciting agenda, all centered around Olympic sports. We'll kick off the week with a torch-lighting ceremony on Monday, October 3 at 6 pm. Team members and residents will participate in a relay-style walk through all neighborhoods of campus, culminating with the lighting of our Olympic flame cauldron on the Grand Lodge front lawn by the Lakeside Pavilion. The flame will burn for the duration of the games. Throughout the week, participants can join in for pickleball, paintball, shuffleboard, croquet, golf, and a swim lap challenge. To participate in our Olympic events as either "Olympic Torchbearer" or games participant, call 208- 996-1322.
