We are excited to invite you to an Action Safety and Marshal training in collaboration with AMOR RI on May 31st from 2pm - 5pm in Rhode Island. Lunch will be served from 1:30-2pm before the training starts. Feel free to come for the lunch portion and connect with the trainers!
This hands-on, experiential training will prepare participants to build upon their own experience at actions and to co-create safety and security structures grounded in abolition, Black, Indigenous & Brown Feminisms and Holistic Safety and Security.
Participants will leave with the following skills to support them on-the-ground at actions:
1. Situational Awareness
2. De-escalation & Protective Interventions
3. Safety Team - Formations, Protocols & Operations
4. Impact Munitions & their associated mitigation measures.

This training is appropriate for those who are new to organizing and folks who have experience but are looking to refresh their skill set, and anyone in between!

Nos complace invitarte a un entrenamiento sobre protocolos y roles de seguridad durante protestas y acciones directas, en colaboración con AMOR RI, el 31 de mayo de 2:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. en Rhode Island. Se servirá el almuerzo de 1:30 p. m. a 2:00 p. m., antes de que comience el entrenamiento. ¡Los invitamos a que vengan a almorzar y charlar con los entrenadores!
