Join us for a Fortissimo Records curated mini all dayer at New River studios in London on 22nd August 2026. Doors open and 6pm and 7 bands will play back to back promptly from 7pm - 11pm. Noise rock, droning avant garde, intricate guitars and plenty of electronics. Tickets are £15. Please support underground music, and trigger object and dream skills who will be on tour.
Action Beat is an instrumental improvisational noise rockband from Bletchley, UK, which is often made up of musicians who are available to play the gig on any particular date. They normally have at least 4 guitarists, a bassist and between 1 and 4 drummers.
Action Beat started in 2004 in Bletchley, UK. Our main goal was to be a touring band, and since forming we played over 700 shows in Europe and North America. The live band normally plays with 3 guitars, baritone, bass, and 2-3 drummers. We toured the East, south, and Mid West States for 23 consecutive dates in 2016, and completed the USA by touring the West Coast in 2019.

London duo Circuit Breaker are made up of brothers Edward and Peter Simpson. Their music is a synthetically enhanced post-punk , reminiscent of dark-wave and industrial-rock but filtered through a lens of textural, glitchy electronica.

Trigger Object is the new moniker adopted by Veronica 'Vern' Avola, and their latest release is a set of metaphysical sonic oddities inspired by the artist's love of ghost hunting reality TV shows.

Sapphire Goss is an artist who works with moving image, photography and other lens-based methods. She explores the fragility of time, place, and perception through analogue film, sound, and material experimentation, creating chimerical imagery to make an ‘analogue uncanny’ where light, time and chemicals come together in unexpected ways: grainy, shimmering, otherworldly landscapes where the physical and spectral intertwine. Using obsolete processes and materials: analogue film, antique glass, paper, liquid lenses, organic materials, inputs from public contributors, multiple channels that feedback in endless combinations or sound/data responsive elements - she creates work that grows, lives and decays beyond the screen. Goss' work has been shown widely in exhibitions and events including the Barbican, ArtScience Singapore, Tate Exchange, By Art Matters Hangzhou, Fermynwoods Contemporary, Brighton Museums, Milton Keynes Art Centre, Denver Clock Tower and Maysles Centre New York. She has received multiple commissions and awards.
“Each video is a reinvention of cinema and a reminder of the magic inherent in the medium. Often working with analogue or even expired film and using homemade lenses to feature the repetitive textures of water, light, erosion, and other ecological materials and processes, Goss manages to create video art that is both wholly new and utterly infused with material history.”

The Duke of Zuke is the musical moniker of London-based composer, Clint Trofa. Tracks are built up using layered guitar loops, drones, minimal electronics and other sounds, to create ethereal, delicate soundscapes.
Clint has toured Europe on several occasions with his close friends Action Beat, and in 2013 had several pieces used in 'Elevating London' - which was screened at a sold out Barbican.

Ala Muerte is the duo of NYC born sisters, Andria and Bianca Bibiloni. Channeling the sonic wisdom of their Puerto Rican ancestors, Ala Muerte's live sets and recordings are powerful and dynamic, where layered, beautiful vocals sit atop delicately sculpted sounds and rhythms." -J.R. Fritsch

Dream Skills utilizes a simple Eurorack modular set up in order to harness the techniques of cv triggering and sequencing of collected natural sounds, digitized into WAV samples, and sent out into the world. This is my attempt to convey personal expression through sounds
manufactured, processed and collected. Bookings: [email protected]
