Ten actors. One stage. Who will be crowned America's first ever Acting Idol?
About this Event

There are competition shows for singing, dancing, stand up, fashion design, modeling, baking, and even magic...basically everything except acting! We intend to change that with our show, Acting Idol, a monthly fundraiser for All You Can Eat Productions' upcoming short film, .

During our first show on May 19th, 10 actors will audition live for our guest judges with the hopes of getting a golden ticket to Hollywood.* These auditions will have everything you know and love from early 2000s competition shows: freak-outs, breakdowns, sassy comments from the judges, powerful sob stories that definitely won’t affect the judges decisions, and most importantly, heart-wrenching, gut-busting performances from some of NYC’s finest thespians.
In the following months, the fates of the final six will rest in the audience’s hands. With the power to vote, the audience will decide who soars, who stumbles, and who survives to fight another day in this monthly live showdown where every choice counts and nothing is off-limits.

Expect bold performances, brutal honesty, a fair amount of silliness, and moments you’ll definitely be talking about the next day.

This isn’t TV; it’s live, it’s messy, and it’s happening right in front of you.

*Just kidding, they’ll be coming back to The RAT NYC!

Seating is limited and obtained on a first come first serve basis. Standing room available once all seats are taken.

Tickets are $17 per person (before tax) with a one-drink minimum (non-alcoholic drinks and snacks also available).

Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
